Kit Digital: SMEs with more than 50 workers could have access to grants
- 7 de June de 2023

Good news for companies with more than 50 employees in Spain, the First Vice President and Minister of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, Nadia Calviño, announced last Wednesday, May 31, that the Government has decided to extend the Digital Kit subsidies. The subsidy that enabled companies from 0 to 50 employees to digitize, could now reach larger SMEs.
According to the government, SMEs that meet this requirement will be eligible for bonds of between 25,000 and 29,000 euros to finance their digitalization process. These funds will be part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, which will be approved by the Council of Ministers and sent to Brussels next week.
This initiative will involve the mobilization of an additional €7.7 billion in transfers and €84 billion in loans, which will be added to the €70 billion allocated in the first phase of the Plan. With this extension of the Digital Kit, the Government seeks to provide an economic boost to SMEs, facilitating their access to financial resources that allow them to address the digital transformation of their processes and services.
